A Sports is a private, 24-hour sports television network based in Karachi, Pakistan, owned and operated by the ARY Digital Network. It is widely recognized as Pakistan’s first dedicated High Definition (HD) sports channel.

• Launch & Ownership: Launched on October 16, 2021, the channel was established under the leadership of ARY founder and CEO Salman Iqbal (who also owns the PSL franchise Karachi Kings).

• Cricket Broadcasting: It holds significant broadcasting rights for high-profile cricket tournaments, including major ICC events (Men’s Cricket World Cup, T20 World Cups), bilateral series, and domestic T20 franchises such as the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

• International Sports Coverage: Beyond cricket, A Sports actively licenses and broadcasts global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup, Spain’s La Liga, Formula 1, and Formula E racing.

• Expert Analysis & Flagship Shows: The channel gained widespread attention for its star-studded analysis panels, particularly its flagship show The Pavilion, which regularly features cricket legends such as Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Shoaib Malik.

• Digital Streaming: Live matches and highlights are streamed digitally through ARY’s dedicated streaming platform, ARY ZAP, alongside mobile applications.
